i mentioned some mini-goals a couple weeks ago to keep me focused post-vacation. im still working on those, but im expanding a bit...
long term goal: i want my weight as close to 125 pounds as possible. i haven't weighed less than 150 in years, but i haven't really been tryin
short term goal: lose 10 lbs (preferably from my tummy) by halloween
on going goals:
1. restrict eating out to twice a week, which includes buying lunch. my midsection (and my wallet) would be happier if i stuck to home. i dont eat out a lot, but when i do, i tend to overdo
2. play wii fit. specifically, complete a body test every day and "workout" at least 60 min per week (preferably 3x for 20min ea)
3. work out more. go to the community gym or do a workout tape at home every week
rewards: these are the things i
so im rewarding myself with money, for the most part :)
- $1 for every day i play wii fit. if i stay on track, i can buy wii sports resort at best buy nov 1st (which also helps with my 10 lbs by halloween goal)
- $3 for every whole pound i lose, which will go towards new shoes
- a bonus for every week that i dont eat out. bonus amount will most likley be equal to what i would have spent had i gone out. and they'll be split between bills and my new shoe fund :)
when i reach my goal weight, im buying something from coach. maybe the tote, maybe not....
i am cheating a little bit, starting the clock as of yesterday :p so i've already mentally awarded myself $2 for my wii body tests. im hoping next week (after weigh in) i can award myself some shoe money too
