I had a good weekend despite catching a cold. Friday, P came over so I planned to make bruschetta (1) and baked chicken (3). The bruschetta turned out great, but I forgot to thaw the chicken. We had just ice cream [Edy's Slow Churned French Vanilla] instead. I put banana in mine to make it four points, which put me at exactely 25 for the day.
Saturday was a bit loosey goosey. P and I spent most of the day catching up for a week apart (10). When we finally got up, I made apple cinnamon pancakes from scratch (2) with extra apples on top. I had a banana (2) as a snack, and pizza for dinner. I felt I'd done pretty well so I ate half - 10 in pepperoni/3 slices = 9.5 points. Another ice cream day - 2 scoops [Edy's Slow Churned Cookie Dough] = 6 points. Not the most well rounded food day, but still only 25.5 points eaten.
Sunday was sorta better. Breakfast was pancakes and milk (8.5). I had lunch with JP. She's awesome and suggested sushi :) I had 8 regular rolls plus edamame (8.5). Dinner was a couple more slices of pizza (6). Unfortunately, I'm having issues with the Weight Watchers Original Points tracker. I only ate 23 points, but the tracker recorded 26.5 for the day. I just caught the error today, while I was checking my info to include with this post.
Monday I ate a ton, which is why I purposely was trying to save as many weekly points as possible. I didn't eat much for breakfast because I felt so gross (got sick Sunday afternoon). I had a banana, 1/2 glass of milk, 1/2 glass of juice and tea (3.5). I spent most of the day sleeping/watching cartoons before I dragged myself to my parents' house. Even a crazy illness couldn't kill my excitement; my mom grills everything :) I had fruit salad, 2 cheeseburgers with no buns, a hotdog with no bun, angel food cake with a spritz of whipped cream, cucumbers with salt, tea, chips and Izze soda. It was a 51 point evening and totally worth it.
Tuesday involved a little cleaning out of the fridge plus recouping from being sick. I didn't get nearly enough sleep Monday night so I felt too crappy for work. I had a small breakfast with tea (3.5) and a smallish lunch [entire can of soup with leftover sushi] (7.5). I felt tons better after a nap and the soup. I finally made the chicken, which turned out ok. I had two servings with the last of the bruschetta and a yogurt for 15.5 points. I ended the day happily and only 1.5 over my daily count.
Today starts another week, which means weighing in tonight. It also means another set of weekly points to use... just in time for another wedding. L & E are tying the knot on Saturday, but I think this week will have a lot less usage compared to the last two. I'm going by myself and not staying over night so I don't plan to do much drinking this time ;)
