time traveling?

look it's monday again. crazy! ...so i never posted my marvelous monday topic for lastthis week. just play along :p

this week is brought to you by yoga pants... but i don't do yoga. i think it's a little annoying to be perfectly honest. i'm just not a "ground yourself in the earth and open your chakras" person. i do, however, LOVE yoga pants. i'm all about comfort when im lounging around at home. these pants are perfect for that... or if i actually get off my ass to workout... or if i need to run to the grocery store quickly. jeans are for impressing people; comfy pants say "i just want to buy milk and take a nap, buddy". [tmi sidebar: they're also more comfortable than jeans when going commando] my favorite yoga pants are cropped, which is great for showing off my calves. i haven't always liked my body (we're having a fight today actually), but i have always loved my calves. i don't know how or why, but i've managed to have fairly muscular legs. i thank dance and cheerleading because nothing else was getting my face out of a book when i was growing up. regardless of how active i've been, my calves have always been there for me, waiting to be retoned. to reward my fabulous calves, i buy cute shoes. lol... i get to show off my calves and my fabulous footwear. who wouldn't want to display this on a regular basis?

  1. For awhile I totally gave up jeans and onl wore pants with an elastic waist band. I have no idea what launched this ultra casual trend because I had nothing cute to show in these bottoms!

BTW, from your post above seems like you've got a good weekend coming your way. I take it you arent in one of the snowy states?

  3. I swear I have those same fuzzy socks & I have them on now. I got them from bath and body works years ago! I also love yoga pants, Old Navy always has them on sale and even though I don't do yoga, I find they're great to run in!
