feeling blah

this has been a bad food week. l left the island for the weekend, which was lovely. i met up with her at c & d's house, which is under renovation. c gave us the grand tour; the finished rooms look great. then we met up with a for dinner at paper moon. i had a deliciously filling breakfast quesadilla with a
HUGE glass of water. i also had a bite (and all the whipped cream) of c's bread pudding. it was not what i expected :) altogether, it was a 12 pt meal

saturday, was the weight watcher's picnic and p's friend's housewarming. the (congratulations on your progress) picnic was fun. everyone brought a dish; most were point friendly. we also made smores. they were awesome, and not as unfriendly as one would think. also k brought this game called ladderball. the concept is basic, but it's not as easy as it looks. mom played a game before we left, which i thought was hilarious. during the couple hours we were there, i had a hot dog, tomatoes, macaroni salad, crab dip, fruit dip w strawberries, apple slices, a popsicle and a smore for 13 pts. before the housewarming, i had a 5 pt snack (banana oatmeal bread and 1/2 glass of milk). at the housewarming, i had a salad with balsamic vinagrette, raw veggies with dip, spinach and artichoke dip (i can never resist), cornbread and 2 woodchuck ciders. another 20.5 points eaten put me over my weekly limit by 4 points


sunday, i got back on track pointswise even though i didnt make the best food choices. i did workout for 45 minutes, and then "worked out" with p. i was able to earn 4 pts worth of activity; enough to get me out of the hole. which i promptly filled with half a pizza from pizza hut. im a sucker for the pan crust veggie lovers... to compensate for the splurge, i had a small breakfast (banana oatmeal bread with milk) and no lunch (just a cookie and smidge of crab dip). at least i had a happy belly at the end of the day... even if it is a bit larger than i want.

monday, i had an english muffin for breakfast and leftover pizza for lunch. i did bounce back slightly by having baked chicken with couscous and a salad for dinner. i only used my 23 points (did i mention i lost a point last week :)) for the entire day.

tonight, im going up to p's and i have no idea whats on the menu. i did workout for 45 min this morning so i've got 3 extra points to play with. so far i've eaten a slice of banana oatmeal bread, leftover chicken/couscous and a salad. im gonna swing by the store to get apples since i need more veggies. that leaves me 9 points for dinner and 3 extras if i want to use them.... which is good because p is on the phone right now planning dinner. lol we're having chicken and rice a roni. sound familiar? hmm if i only have half a breast and half a cup of rice, i will have 2 points left over. maybe i'll have extra chicken or ice cream or a yogurt...

guess i should go and figure it out :) bye, internets
