bodacious

another weigh in day has arrived. considering it's postholiday i should be shaking in my sneakers

but im not :) wed are my late day - i sleep in a little, work out, super condition my hair and eat a bigger breakfast. if all goes well, i can roll in to work by 1030 and stay until 630 (weight watchers meeting is across the street at 7). today didnt go so well. i went to bed at 3am (oops) so i slept until 930 (double oops). still got up and worked out/played a game [n - ive officially beaten swordplay showdown. im coming for you next], took a long shower and had my delicious breakfast. in classic style, i get half dressed before i eat... it's an old habit from high school for no other reason than im lazy and hate mornings... pants and tank on, i noticed my pants were crazy loose. i know i need new ones, but im trying not to charge another thing plus want to get down another size. finished eating, fixed my hair, threw a snack in my purse and put on my new shirt in front of the mirror

holy shit! i look good today. my abs are looking flatter, my tush looks smaller and the top clings to the right spots. i think i couldve gone down a size on the top (maybe). and my pants are like 3in too big at the waist. i currently have them old lady hiked to my boobs to keep them from exposing my butt when i move around my desk lol

so for today, no matter what that scale says, im happy with where my body is :)

  1. Isn't that a good feeling? Saying screw you scale, today I feel happy in my body?! I love it! Great feeling!

Here's a thought - for your items that you just adore & can't live without that are now too big - have them altered to fit! I've done that with all of my pants, not so easy for shirts, but it can be done. I'm really tall & spend quite a bit of $$ on pants only because it's so hard to find nice pants for work, so I refuse to give them away. I just have them fixed to fit me! :)

  2. i really should try to find a good seamstress. i have the reverse length problem: too long pants. ive needed to get all my pants hemmed, but never do it. new mission: hem pants and have them taken in :)
