Three weeks later...

It's been an interesting few weeks. My roommate and I had our party. It was crazy, but awesome. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in the city. Also awesome. Oh and I gained 1.4 pounds. Not so awesome.

Party weekend did me in. I was running around for a couple days (31 activity points earned), but I did not eat much the day of and the day after... I snacked here and there the day of the party. Plus I had a few drinks. The day after I spent mostly asleep (not hung over just exhausted). What little I did eat was completely unbalanced crap, and I had very little water over those few days. So my body responded accordingly :( Luckily, this was the first time I gained so I didn't let it deter me. I did what I needed to get back on track, and did so successfully. Last week I weighed in at 1.8 pounds less than the week before :D

This weekend I did well too (take that Fourth of July). I stayed at P's the entire long weekend, which was something of a struggle. We do not do much, and he doesn't have fresh, healthy food. However, I was able to convince him to buy produce on Friday :) Most of it didn't last the weekend, but that's ok. All my favorite fruits are in season. They are less expensive so I feel less guilty about eating them by the bucketfuls. Saturday was A B & J's garden party. I love parties at A's - they always have delicious food and tons of drinks. I kept myself to two drinks (jack & coke and a glass of wine) cause I was driving, but I gorged a bit on little cucumber sandwiches. I just adore them so much :) Sunday was another loungey day with P, but I left early afternoon. I was planning to do stuff around the apartment, but that didn't really happen. Now I'm trying to make up for that in the evenings after work. Good for getting moving, but not as fun as cleaning out the DVR :p

Last night, N & I went on a walk around the complex, which turned into a walk around the neighborhood. We walked for almost an hour discussing food and weight loss. It was great :) We agree that we should go walking regularly. We'll see if that happens...

I'm a little nervous about weighing in tonight, but I'm also excited to see if the small things this week paid off. Not that I would stop doing them, but it's always nice to be rewarded for hard work :)
